How can I get my baby to move before my ultra sound this afternoon?!?!?

I went in this morning to find out the sex of my baby but the baby was not in a good position. I'm supposed to go back this afternoon. I was told to drink apple juice and walk around to get the baby to move.

What else can I do? I really want to know what my baby is TODAY.

  • Eat popcorn.
They can do a fetal stress test to help make the baby move and monitor it,which may determine the babies sex?

Are you doing it just to know again or for medical reasons?
Otherwise i would just wait and see what your having,a nice surprise at delivery.
Plus insurance may not cover another one for that reason.

  • I'm just doing it for sex determination and I'm paying out of pocket because it's not at my doctor's office. It's just one I chose to have.

We've done the research and we're comfortable with our decision. We don't want the baby to be a surprise this time.

  • my dr tried to look at 16, 18, 20wks, only to FINALLY find out on wk 22 during the first "big" ultrasound. Good luck! Greasy foods usually do the trick for mine... we're not particularly big fans of it, and that may be the reason he wiggles so much! Also, I drink coke zero... zero calories, and he bounces like he's floating in the fizz!
