What would you ask?

I am looking into a new daycare situation for my son. He will be 3 when we make the switch. I have an idea of things I want to know, but I was wondering what others would ask, in case I am overlooking something.

  • My top concern would be the safety precautions throughout the school. As far as having locks on all the doors. When my son was attended preschool what really turned me off was the parents would hold the door for other parents, to me that defeated the purpose of having the keycode entry locks. Safety is number one. Other than that maybe nutrition, dicipline policies?

Are the children hugged and cuddled

  • Are the kids prepared when they start Kindergarten? Ask to talk to parents of graduates of the daycare. They're the ones to give you the real scoop on the daycare.
