We didn't know it was a Jack Russel terrier.
Does anyone have any hints on raising a jack Russel Terrier? They have so... much energy and jump, and are so hyper. We just got a shi tsu Jack Russel Terrier mix and he is a puppy. We have had training problems for the past week we have had him as he wasn't used to grass and barks and chases our indoor cats. They don't like him so far. We haven't had a puppy for a long time and I have forgotten stuff and this dog has so... much energy.

I would find something for him to do, give him a job. Once he has had some training he may do with in some dog sport. I would also exercise him as much as possible
