Ann Curry and Today

I don't know. I haven't watched the Today show for probably at least 10 years (with exception to seeing segments that were on while sitting at the dealership waiting for my car service to be finished). I have never been particularly fond of Mrs. Curry. I think it was the way she would interrupt her guests during interviews. Same thing bugs me about a lot of news type people. I don't know if they are just arrogant or just want to be able to ask the most amount of questions regardless of the content of the answers they receive.

Someone in a different forum mentioned the show's ratings, but I don't know that ratings have so much to do with Curry as they do with the network in general.  

I think they just brought her on temporarily... and it sucks because I like Ann as well!! I don't think they should get rid of her completely, but maybe put her back at the anchors desk reporting the small stuff. Not a smart move on the Today show that's for sure!!

Today put her in that spot b/c she had been there the longest and their ratings went down (so they say). i stopped watching when she became a head host cause personally, i cant stand Ann. her interviews are dreadful as she always asks the wrong question and has no connection to the person she interviews. she's awkward as a host, but she was great just reading the news. several ppl i know said they may start watching again (as i might too) now that she's gone.

i liked Ann. It was sad to see her go
