What are your thoughts on Congess vote today?

A friend on facebook was upset. Stating that her daughter nneded a certain procedure done (medical) fussed about Obama care.than stated that this test would cost $500. Because she has insurnace but would only cost $350 if she paid cash without any insurance.
Also. Stating that theybjust couldn't affordnthis test for their daughter.
this family just went from tx to fl to Disney. A family vacation for a few days.

  • My thoughts are that it is not over. The 'penalty' was deemed a 'tax'. They can not rule for or against a tax that has not been taxed yet for I foresee this coming back into court in 2015.

  • It wasn't Congress. It was the Supreme Court. Who upheld the individual mandate and ruled it constitutional.

  • Are you talking about the Affordable Healthcare Act? The Supreme Court not Congress upheld it in its entirety except for the penalty against states with regard to Medicaid. It was ruled constitutional.
