  • I can't believe you suggested practivity. WTF? You should only ever recommend that people come to CM to whine & all of their problems will be solved.

  • ^^ Because sometimes you advise abortion- and telling someone who is on the fence, or didn't even ask about abortion, just leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

    And once you said "everyone" would cheat if they were in a bad relationship. Those DVs were defensive. That was the other Moms way of saying they would leave, rather than cheat.

    And the "I have NO empathy/ sympathy", statements just make some people cranky. But when you admitted you had a soft spot for the elderly- some people lightened up a bit.

    It's not that you don't "sugar-coat", it's just that, sometimes, turn the filter on, just a little. Kind of like my response here. I could have been MUCH more blunt. But why? I got my point across without seeming angry. KWIM?
