  • Okay , employers of 50 or more persons will have to provide and pay for health care, or opt to pay $750 per employee if the cannot do it. If you do not buy health insurance on your own, you will be penalized 1% of your gross income for failure to do so.. in laymans terms this means if you earn $40,000 per year and do not buy health insurance you would pay $400 to the IRS.. in employer;s terms this means if they have 50 employees and do not provide health insurance they will have to pay $40,000 in penalites.. I could go on and on, but this is what the Supreme Court ruled as constitutional.

  • If you don't have "qualified" health insurance, then you must either buy qualified health insurance or sign up for medicaid, and if you don't - you get taxed.

  • It means a couple of thousand dollars tax for a family of 4.

It means some plans like mine are going to get a 40% tax slapped on them...guess who's insurance will go up 40%?

It means the IRS will now have access to your bank accounts.

All kinds of crazy crap. You should take the time and read the legislation. It is staggering.
