  • good question i suffered severe heartburn while pregnant.
i would have to have 4 pillows at night where i was practically sitting up.
try tums and rolaids... if not ask your doctor for some suggestions

  • Tums, Tums and Tums!!!!

I had a few days here and there where i couldn't get rid of it no matter what but i take tums daily because of the chronic heartburn that comes with pregnancy :)

  • My dr prescribed Protonix for it. It is a lifesaver and a category B drug so I feel safe using it sparingly during my pregnancy. Ask your doc about it. I really couldn't deal with the heartburn/acid reflux before I started taking it. It was making my throat swell up.

  • mine is really severe, the doctor said zantac was ok to take. other than that, tums, rolaids and malox.

Stay away from milk, chocolate and spicy foods. <--That's my down fall, I've been craving hot wings something terrible.

  • Tums, I liked the smoothies. Stay away from milk and dairy at least before bed because it somehow makes it worse. . . I had heartburn for like 2 months. . .
