Colombia's highest court has decriminalized possession of small amounts of cocaine and marijuana. Now, in the nation that holds the dubious distinction of being one of the world's leading producers of coca leaf, no longer can people be arrested and imprisoned for using these drugs for their own personal use. Anyone caught with their own personal stash of 20 grams of marijuana, or one gram of cocaine, will not be prosecuted.
