  • We go on vacation every year. Some years we don't go far and other years we do something major. We tend to go to National Parks and Monuments. I'd go stir-crazy if I couldn't get away for a few days.

  • We go to visit my 90+ yr. old uncle in Los Angeles every summer. It's gotten a bit tiring but we love him,so we go. We drive, so I try to make the trip full of fun places and thing to do and see. We love national parks and try to hit as many as possible most years.

We leave for our trip tomorrow. Nothing particuarly interesting on the drive this year, except for 2 nights in Vegas. But this year we are going to Israel for a month from LA, and then driving back.

  • When my son was younger and we had money to travel, we went to Washington DC, Disney World, a cruise, and St. John. This year we went to Key West and he joined us there.

  • Depends on our budget, time frame, and how old our daughters are. Sometimes we take them places we can drive Chicago, where they have an awesome citypass that gets you into a whole bunch of touristy places for a flat rate.

The year before last we went through Louisville, Nashville, and Memphis doing a couple things in each city and moving on to the next at night. That was a fun trip.

  • Cruise. Whole family,in-laws, everybody, well adults, all the kids are late teens or older. It was great, we're in the planning stages to do it again. Lots of flexibility, we had time together and time apart, we would meet for breakfast or dinner, most times we would go our separate ways during the day on shore. We've also done Disney/Universal/SeaWorld vacations too, with the kids. Lots of fun.
