could my lil guy catch rsv from my sis daughter

  • YES!!!!
    It is basically a cold that settles in the chest. Almost everyone has had it by the time they are two. It is really dangerous in premies and little ones with lung issues. It hospitalizes and kills lots of babies each year.

  • It is VERY contagious, I wouldn't let anyone who has it, or has been around someone that has it near the baby until everything is gone, they might not like that, but it's better to keep your baby safe. If a baby catches it, it could be deadly because their immune systems can't fight off infections that well. Here's a link that explains more on it.
