For how long can you leave formula until you have to throw it away?

  • do you mean that you made it and cant use it right away?! well i never left it sitting there for longer than 30minutes. it gets bad really fast. :-/ Even in the fridge. its a little different than breastmilk

  • Formula is good for one hour after you make the bottle.

  • It all depends on the brand. Read the can or the packaging.

    USUALLY it's good for two hours unrefrigerated and unused.
    If you start feeding it to the baby but the baby doesn't drink all of it, the rest is good for an hour.
    If you pre-make it and refrigerate it, it's good for either 24 hours or 48 hours, depending on the brand.
