This hummus expired in April

The container was plastic sealed and unopened. I opened it, it smells fine, and the tiny taste I took tasted fine too. Should I eat it, or toss it?

  • Throw it away. April? not even close. Just because something looks fine and doesn't smell bad doesn't mean that dangerous bacteria haven't formed. I wouldn't take a chance.

  • Aunt Mickey is that you??? LOL. Sounds like something my dear old aunt would do...she has sour cream that expired 2 years ago in her fridge. She swears it's still good cause it's unopened. LOL. Yes, I agree with everyone else. Toss is.
