  • Guess that depends on the district. Schools are overpopulated on Long Island, so yes. If parents aren't on top of their child's progress is easy to get lost in the system. I will home school if I'm financially able to.

  • I guess it depends. I love my son's school and our zoned high school is always on the top 100 list from Newsweek.

  • some do some don't. my dd's school is great. there are only 200 kids in it. there are 15 kids in a class. they have a teacher the teachers aide and other teacher helpers. so its really individualized, small groups. My daughter goes to a regular public school, is not in a special class. We did research on the school district's and moved before she went into kindergarten.

  • It depends on where you live.....where I live the public school system is great. We sure pay a hell of a lot of property taxes so it better be good!
