What unique/healthy items do you pack in your child's lunch?

I'm getting ideas for fall (if August 15th counts!) I like to do bento-style lunches for my 3 year old who goes to part-time preschool. Thanks for any ideas!

  • The biggest problem is keeping the lunch COLD. I use insulated lunch bag with ice on the bottom put it all the lunch then put another ice pack on top. I pack a variety of things sweet peas, baby carrots, star fruit sliced, pineapple, mango, papaya, olives, all kinds of cheese, crackers & breads....wraps, naan bread, pita triangles with hummus
