C-Section soreness

It's been 3 months, and I'm still pretty sore if I touch around the scar... generally how long till that goes away?

  • My scar and the area around it wasn't completely "normal" until my dd was about 5 months.

  • I'm 8 months PP from a csection. My scar, when I touch it, feels almost numb, not necessarily sore.

  • Wow. After reading all this I guess I'm just a lucky one.. Mine was only sore for about 2 weeks.. After I got my staples out I felt as good as new.

  • Mine has never really been sore... but my friend who's baby is 8 months old says her still hurts a lot. She almost never wears jeans because it is so sensitive and said she can't do things like sit ups either... her OB said it has to do with the nerves having to regrow (in her case)
