Why isnt she eating the past couple of days?

so my daughter seems to be having a weird day. she doesnt want to eat. she eats about 3/4 of her bottles that she does eat, but shes skipped one today and two yesterday pretty much all together because she refused them. she doesnt want any baby food, and shes usually great at eating.
she seems perfectly happy and healthy, no fever or anything like that. The only thing thats wrong is shes teething. could her teeth be causing her to not want to eat? Or is this just a little mini phase that kids go through? im confused
thank you in advance for any advice!

  • her teeth could be bothering her. or it could also be that she is drooling a lot and swallowing the drool, which will cause an upset tummy or a full feeling. just make sure to offer her bottles whenever she normally eats and make sure she is not getting dehydrated.

  • i would call the pediatrician if i were you, just in case. and i only say this because i watching discovery health last night and its made me paranoid. but if you're unsure i find its always best to check with the doc!

  • my dd did that a couple of times. the first time was cuz daddy deployed. i doc said that's normal. and then she got sick, so that was a loss of appitite. but yes, teething can make her not eat much. my son used to just chew on his bottle instead of eat it...just watch her, make sure she's not starving herself (which she won't) but if you're really worried just ask the pedi.
