My daughter just came home and appologized to me. lol

She is almost 26 and she a two friends were watching another friends 2 year old boy. I guess he led them a not so merry chase and often would turn and say I bite.

DD said I will tell your mother and the boy said

Oh noooo

LOL anyway she came home hugged me and told me she was really sorry for everything she put me through lol.

Yep- it takes an experience or 2 like that to make us appreciate our parents. :p For me, it was when I became a parent myself. Not sure why it took so long tho, b/c looking back, I've had some horrible babysitting experiences! lol :p

Kids don't appreciate what we moms do for them until they babysit a terror-type kid or have kids of their own. At least she realized what you did for her. That is the best thing she can ever do.

I remember the day I apologized to my mom. It was after I had 3 kids and after my ex-husband left me. So, that wasn't that long ago. I've always had respect for single moms, but when I became one myself, I had even more respect for them. Granted, my mom was never single for very long.
I'm glad your daughter apologized. I bet that felt good:-)

I know I have...several times in fact, LOL. When one of my kids did something similar to what I know I had done, especially, because now I know how SHE must have felt!
