Anyone still do the low-carb thing?

I'm wanting to lose the weight I gained last year. Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

  • You want to do low carb? Or you just want suggestions on what to do?

    I do not do low- carb. I eat within my BMR- work out 5-6 days a week and drink water. I'm down 20 lbs so far

  • Eat a balanced diet of healthy foods. I wouldn't do low carb those dietsoften cut out healthy things like fruits and veggies. Balance and moderation is better, Imo.

  • I do want to do a modified version of low-carb. I'm hypoglycemic so eating processed/refined makes me feel tired and run-down anyway.

  • Scrap the low-carb, low cal, low-low-low-everything. Eat clean and eat whatever you want!


    Clean = low fat, high quality meat (think wild fish, free-range poultry, organic) - eat less meat and more fresh fruits and veggies!

  • When I had gestational diabetes I had to do a stabilized carb diet plan and I gained hardly any weight, but I'm pretty happy with the weight I'm at now. My bil has been doing a modified atkins diet for 18 months now and has lost a ton of weight, but he had it to lose!
