  • Also you might be able to get a utility assistance check. At least that's what they do here in MA

  • If you have no income your rent would be zero and you could qualify to receive a check to cover your utility expenses. Like I said that's what they do here in MA

  • Yes. And you may qualify for emergency shelter assistance & a utility assistance check. A few years ago I was on it & bumped to emergency housing which got me to the head of the section 8 list. And then they paid me $101 for utility assistance which covered gas, electric, & water since I was also on the customer assistance programs (CAP). I lived in PA then.
