Cafemom Veteran/Member/Newbie, etc question

You know how on your profile people can determine how long you've a member based on your CM "title".

I was under the impression this was based on the length of time you've been here, but NOT on your level. So, a level 38 could be a "member" (less than a year) or a level 5 could be a Veteran.

Is that incorrect? Say, someone is level 7 but was answering questions in 2009. Would they still be a Newbie?

  • It's based on how long you have had your CM acct. Answers has nothing to do with it, because a lot of people have been here 5 years and don't even know where the Answers section is.

  • It depends on whetehr you're going by their profile and activity (which ranks them based on date they became a member) or the answers activity (which is the levels such as 1,2,3, etc). A cafemom veteran is still a NEWBIE to answers if they are a lower level.
    In other words the sections are determined differently.

  • That is based on time since membership activation, though I do not know WHEN they move from "new" to "veteran". It could be as short as 30 days

  • The only one I'm fairly certain about is "member" which is less than a year (but more than?? Don't know)
