How much did your baby weigh at 6 months?

My daughter has a 6 month check up this Friday and I don't think she's really gained much weight since her 4 month checkup. She then weighed right at 14 lbs. I think she might have gained about a pound. I guess I'll find out Friday. Does this seem right? Does weight gain slow down around this time?

  • I wouldn't worry about it too much
my BFF has a 1 y/o DD that is only 20 lbs.. my dd weighed that 7 months.
I think that the Docs are more concerned that some kinda of growth has occured over time and that your baby is not stalled somewhere.
My BFF's dd and my dd started out both the same weights and heights, but by one year old there were major differences. Her DD is just tiny like her mom. My DD will most likely be an Amazon like her daddy's side.
