When storms come thru & knock out power for days, the good can come out in people too :)

Thought I better throw in a good news story! Lord knows I try to see the good in people & believe that people are inherintly good. Stories like this one prove it! :)

  • I have seen to many examples of the good that people do to help each other to relate them all in several years worth have time. For me they far outweigh the harm that some do.

  • Last September the power went out here in the entire bottom part of our state. Like 3 million something people without power and nothing, and I mean NOTHING open within a 2 hour drive lol. Despite only lasting maybe 7 hours it was complete chaos. Cars stranded at gas stations, can't cook in the kitchen, can't open the fridge/freezer anyway, and no restaurants/grocery stores open anywhere. But, lots of people outdoors BBQing for the neighbors, kids playing in the street until dark, parents on the porch hanging out. When was the last time you saw that!? That part was kinda cool.
