Meatballs and rice.
Get a large bag of precooked meatballs from Costco. Get 18 oz your favorite BBQ sauce and 18oz grape jelly. Combine all of it into a slow cooker (6 qt or larger) and set on low for at least 4 hours. The longer the meatballs marinate in the sauce, the better they taste. I usually fix it up in the morning around 7-8 for dinner at 5:30 or so.
Cook rice and use it as a bed to serve the meatballs over. It's very filling. We use half the bag for my family of 4 and STILL have leftovers.
