1 Bump

Should i be worried....

my son is 8 months old and he is not crawling ,it seems like everyone Else baby that is one more older or a couple of weeks old is doing so much and should i be worried ,i mean when he is on his tummy he scouts but not crawl like the other babies i know,im doing something wrong,poeple keep saying he should be doing this and he is not .

  • Don't compare him to other kids, it will only drive you crazy. Every kid is different. My son didn't crawl till right before he started walking. He found lots of other ways to get around though.

  • Nope he will crawl when he is ready my son was almost 10months old before he crawled he was happy not exploring and just playing with his toys

  • Exactly what Kmath said plus know that not all kids crawl. I never did according to my mother. I scooted on my butt and then started walking. Also don't listen to people telling you what he should or should not be doing. That crap use to infuriate me.

  • My baby is almost 10 months and he just started crawling each baby develops at their own pase.... Just sit back relax and dont rush them....

  • I can't stand it when people compare one baby to another, or one kid to another--usually to say that so-and-so's kid is bigger, faster, smarter, etc., than yours. Let your son be a baby, don't worry about what he "should" be doing. The baby days will be gone before you know it. My mom said I always crawled on my back like a crab, never on my hands and knees.
