Why does my 22 month old lick everybody and everything!

She will lick toys walls and when we hold her she licks us to death lol

  • Are you giving any type of reaction when the behavior occurs?
    I honestly think mine did it because of the faces I made. They would laugh hysterically.

    herlicking issues fall into sensory issues

    drove me crazy when she would lick public windows...GROSS
    thank God she is over this, but still will try to lick me at times (she pretends she is going to kiss me)
    i asked many moms how to redirect- never got a good answer
    when she did window licking at home, i would give her a salty chip- she loves them- something else to lick

    only thing i could think of- maybe she is enjoying the salt, so a salty chip redirected her
