My stepdad has a repertoire of dishes he makes over a couple weeks... it changes with seasons, etc. I always seem to overthink menu planning... What meals do you eat on a weekly or bi-weekly basis? What could you eat everyday? What is your favorite inexpensive meal to make at home?Answer Question

I remember sitting for hours and planned an entire months menu and made out a list. The list was broken down to only two trips to the store for the month and the price was less than $300. That's $300 to feed 7 people for an entire month. It was alot of hamburger helper and salads with veggie soup and chili. I had it all mapped out where I used leftovers for the next days meal or we had leftover night, but couldn't get cooperation from other family members that would help with the cooking. It kind of ticked me off because now we buy in spurts and I feel we are spending more money than we would have the other way. Sorry I'm rambling this post reminded me of how I need to do this again and put my foot down...lol.
