Our neighbors and our kids frequently get together in the evenings - what are some good snackables that we could try??? We LOVE food!

  • I agree with LostSoul. You can't beat fruits and veggies. Buy what's in season right now for economical value. Make your own simple dips and you are in business.

  • Texas Trash Dip

    Mix 1 8 ounce pk of cream cheese (room temp) with 1 cup of sour cream, 2 cans of refried beans, and 1 pkt of taco seasoning. Stir well. Spray bottom and sides of 13X9 dish. Spread mixture evenly into the bottom of the baking dish. Sprinkle the top with both cheeses.
    Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cheese in melted and slightly browned. Serve with tortilla chips.
