Chocolate question

Can anyone explain to me how to make big chocolate curls that usually go on top of desserts? I usually just grate them but would like the big ones like the ones that you see on pies!

  • A REALLY sharp knife works too; just make sure the chocolate isn't TOO cold, or you get little gritty bits.

  • a friend uses room temp chocolate and a brand new vegetable peeler - warmer chocolate will hold together and not be as likely to break
