She turned 6 last month. She doesn't know what shaving is but I caught her with her safety art scissors trying to chop at some. No friends have noticed, me and her dad and grandparents didn't either. She is very Norwegian w/ blondish hair and blue eyes so it's freakishly dark or anything. I think it's more obvious right now because her legs are tanner than they've ever been since she's so active these days and the fuzz is more noticeable sticking from a darker leg.
This morning she chose a maxi dress to wear instead of shorts and I am worried it's because she is self conscious about her legs! It might seem like a random clothing choice but that means she cannot ride her bike, which is her life-line this summer.
I haven't had much of a talk yet other than "scissors are for crafts, not body parts".
I have ZERO CLUE what to do now. Say or do, really. I learned to shave my legs around 11 or 12 by my school nurse! (My Mom was absent and awful) I don't want her waxing or shaving at 6, though, nor do I think they look bad enough to require it. WWYD?
