My daughter just told me something alarming about her father, should I confront him about it?

My 2 year old just said that Daddy took a poop on the couch...

What would you do in this situation? Confront him? Let it go? I'm covering the couch in baking soda right now and letting it sit. Not sure how he will react to me knowing.

I just asked DH what he would expect me to do if he took a shit on the couch, and he shrugged his shoulders and said "understand that this is my house, too...woman!"

unless you feel your DH is prone to this sort of behavior when you are not around in front of your child... I would say he farted.

i would think that one would ask him, and then both of you have a good belly laugh when he tells you that he farted and it stunk to high heaven

confront him?
what kind of relationship do you have with your husband

or maybe you and him have a great relationship and he has some medical issues

Well, I agree that kids sometimes make up stories...

However my DH has accidentally pooed on our floor before. He farted and shit came out. Fucking hilarious! I made him clean it up and I still make fun of him for it.
