  • Why pump, just throw a light receiving blanket over you, and then you won't have to worry about the milk going bad... I never pumped, it was a pain the in the butt... (imo)

  • I have never been able to pump. I would have to do the blanket thing or feed her in the car..

  • i would put it in the cooler and take it out about 10-15 minutes before i fed the baby so it wasn't so cold.(unless the baby likes cool milk...mine did) GL :)

  • I totally understand. I was that way with my first. I had to sit int he car with a blanket to feed 'in public'. With my second I was MUCH more open to the idea! At parks I would find a quiet spot near the play area but away from the crown and cover to feed.

If you really feel you need to pump... you would want to put it in the fridge and carry it in a cooler. Once it touched the babies mouth it is good for a couple hours. If is is still in the containers it is good for 5 days (fresh refrigeration) thawed (24 hours) frozen (5 months)

Has your LO taken a bottle yet?

  • how long do you plan to be at the park? if you feed baby right before going, you should have a couple of hours before he/she will want to feed again. you may not need a bottle at all.
