  • Our whole universe was in a hot dense state,
Then nearly fourteen billion years ago expansion started. Wait...
    The Earth began to cool,
    The autotrophs began to drool,
    Neanderthals developed tools,
We built a wall (we built the pyramids),
Math, science, history, unraveling the mysteries,
That all started with the big bang!

  • so what is to debate about this picture? you want to jump out of a building and test a theory, go right ahead, missy.

  • Actually, gravity is both

But creationism doesn't necessarily deny evolution. I believe in both.

  • There are a lot of theories thatwe accept or don't because of the current knowledge. Until they can be proven they are theories.
Who created the world. As a Catholic I believe that God created the world. There is nothing to say that God did not create the process of evolution ofacilitae the creation of the world etc. We can not know how long a day is in God's terminology. We do know that days are different lengths on different planets.

Different people believe different things. Each believes they are right (or they wouldn't believe it). When any of it can be proved beyond a shadow of a doubt we all will probably beieve the same thing but until then we will just have to do the best we can.
Hopefully without trying to make ourselves look better/smarter by tearing down what someone else believes.

  • Actually, gravity is considered a law. Evolution is considered a theory. Whoever made the picture should study more science. :P

  • I do, too, Sharon. :)

And you are right, however, I was trying to make the point that gravity is more of a solid proven fact than evolution.
