It's been an emotional day. The 17 yr old next door died last night in a car accident; they hyrdoplaned off a mountain. It's been hard on us all day. I went next door to bring some casseroles to the family. It was emotional and rough, especially when it was dinner time today; he always ate with us.
I walk through the front door of my house and down the hallway to see my SO and his female friend (who is going through a nasty divorce) sitting in the recliner together with our daughter laid across both of them suggled up under a blanket. His arm was wrapped all around his female friend.
I sat down next to them, staring, for about 10 minutes before either of them noticed. She eventually moved to the couch. I've said nothing, but I'm not too happy. Boundaries is what I wanted to scream. Boundaries!
How would you react? Am I on an emotional rollercoaster right now, or is this crossing a line? I don't have a jealous damn bone in my body, or do I suddenly? Ugh.
