will a church give free homeschooling textbooks??

  • If you are having trouble affording books you should try the book samaritan. Google it and write them a letter if their limit hasn't been met for the year they will send you free books. Good luck!

  • Most churches don't have assess to homeschooling textbooks, the church itself has nothing to do with homeschooling. If the church has an active home school group, the group might have a lending library, ours did. You can contact churches and ask them if they have any homeschooling families that attend. If so, you could give them your number and have them contact you to give you more info on getting some books.

  • just used textbooks, it does not have to be for homeschooling, just regular schoool textbooks.

  • Some states will sponsor homeschool material, but you have to go by their curriculum. My mother homeschools my youngest sibling (age 12), and uses the state's curriculum however she will incorporate Bible study. Our state - Texas - pays for books, elective materials (like art supplies for art class) and even provided a computer and printer. They also compensate my mother for her internet connection.
