There are a few different stories about this right now. Banter between pro athletes, and racist comments about a reality show contestant. Under UK law, there is no freedom of speech, not in the sense that we have here. You can be investigated and arrested for anything you say on social media of someone complains and says it's racist or bullying.
When you talk about wanting to change laws, take away rights, strip people's guns or make your religion's beliefs law for everyone, does it ever occur ot you that losing your rights is not a sweeping gesture, but done in small steps like what's happening in the UK?
