What are your mean Mommy moments?

What are your recent "mean Mommy" moments?
Last night I kicked DD out of our bed (in my defense she wouldn't sleep, so she got put back in her own bed).

This morning when she asked for "Emmo" I gave her Elmo. (Not sure why this makes me mean, but she threw herself on the floor and starting screaming and kicking, so clearly I did something wrong.)

  • My whole day is a "mean mommy" moment. Basically anything I do that doesn't align well with a day of carefree screwing off makes me the bad guy LOL

  • They got into some hot water a week ago by standing on the middle shelf of our cat condo. It could handle the weight of the little one (26 lbs), but not the big one (60 lbs). They lost a few things they sleep with and have yet to do anything that could earn them back and have been begging for their stuff all week.

    As soon as they are behaving properly they will get their stuff back.

  • When I start to get tired, I do get a bit on the crabby side & don't have much patience left at the end of the day. Then of course there's my PMS moments when I REALLY don't have any patience. So I get short-tempered, raise my voice & then feel bad about it later. :(

  • Of course in DS's eyes I can do no wrong, so that is a plus. Daddy is the mean one in DS's mind.
