  • if you only met him a week ago i would give him time. most people tak more than a week to start trusting some one. you just need to keep showing him with your actions that you are not out to hurt him and hopefully that will help.

  • It takes time to earn trust. Take things nice and easy and slow. A week is a drop in the ocean. Just be patient and don't rush the guy.

  • If you are really interested in him take it slow. He needs to deal with his own issues.

  • Well, first, it's only been a week. Real trust takes time. With that said, though, if he's still so raw from another woman's deceptions that he insists everything you say is a lie, I'd seriously reconsider whether you want to deal with that. It means he's not over it, and possibly not over her. Do you really want to make yourself responsible for trying to fix what could be some very major issues?

  • Walk away from this one for a while. It's way too early.
