What do I quote?

I am a freelance copywriter. I am not the MOST experienced, but I am no longer a total Amateur either. I know there are tons of sites out there where writers are willing to work for nearly nothing, but those are usually for smaller "making nothing" companies as well. A corporation asked how much I would charge to rewrite their site. My copywriting "handbook" lists webpages at between 500-1500 a page...I would go with the lower of those...but that still seems like a lot of money. Then again, a big corporation expects big prices or they think you are an amateur who they can walk all over. They are located near Atlanta, so obviously a big city...I'm so conflicted. More money would be nice...but I don't want to scare them away! Ahhh!
