Do you barbeque outside in the winter time?

Just curious....wondering if all of you that live in cold climates in the winter time, still go out there, start the grill, and grill up some steaks (or whatever)=)

  • yep... about once every two weeks... i think the big thing is... we have a gas grill. if we had a weber or something, we prolly wouldn't as much... too much prep time.

  • The father of the other first grader in my daughters' school was BBQing ribs yesterday at his parents' house yesterday... and had to run off a mountain lion that came over to check out the good smells!!! Since he has three boys 6 and under that are like snacky treats to a young lion- he thought scaring him/her off was a good idea... not quite the same as chasing a bear off though- teensy bit more dangerous!! LOL He used to be a city dude- I think we broke him! LOL

  • We grill all year round. Granted, its not so often in the winter as in the summer, but still a couple times a month.

  • Ayuh!
During the ice storm of 1996 up in Maine when we were without power for about 2 weeks, it was the only way to cook our food.
Here in Virginia, it is mild enough to barbecue in the winter months.

  • Shoot we are like mail men when it comes to grilling. No rain or sleet or snow or dark of night will stay this griller from her appointed meal!
