teething remedies?

I am out of Motrin until I get paid in about a week and my son is teething badly. Does anybody have any really effective teething remedies? Please nobody suggest alcohal on the gums.

  • a cold washcloth may help, wet in put in freezer and let him chew on it. per the person before me duh...also if you have one of those mesh thingys put some frozen fruit in it and let him gnaw on it.

  • try teething tablets the are at walgreens something cold like a wash cloth that might help

  • Pure vanilla extract, don't know it you have any handy, but told this works

  • When my son was teething i would put a cold washcloth for him to chew and that really helped him
