  • I have rode the Texas State Railroad a few times. It was a blast. We were there once for meetings and they took us out on a night time dinner ride. We got stopped by "Robbers". Loved it!

  • I've never traveled by train. The only times I've ever been on a train was for two trips to a railroad museum. My husband used to be a conductor, but that was freight trains. They've been talking for years about building a high speed rail line from Las Vegas to somewhere in California, and I would ride it if it went to LA or San Diego, but the one that has been talked about most is only supposed to go to Victorville, which would be useless.

  • I really like a nice train trip. It's so much more pleasant than flying, provided you don't have to get there super fast.
