Shouldn't they target the source of the problem, not a group as a whole? Instead of shutting down the football program at Penn State, wouldn't it be better to just provide workshops about reporting violence and child abuse? I think what happened was horrible but I don't think that means everyone should suffer for what a few evil people did.Answer Question

An announcement will be made tomorrow about the penalties that the PSU football program will sustain. I don't know that I agree that the program should be suspended. If it were crimes committed by the players against other players (such as hazing) then I could see suspension, however the students didn't do anything wrong to my knowledge. Perhaps I don't have all of the information though. There have also been rumors that the penalties will include PSU being excluded from bowl games for a period of time.
