Is it true that if u use a breast pump that they stretch out your nipples?

  • not permanency. but when your done pumping your nipples are like 3 times the size they normally are, atleast mine was.

  • Not permanent... While using it, your nipples will stretch a lil.. But they will go back to normal.. While you are nursing as well your nipples will change a bit. but will go back to normal after you stop nursing.

  • Right, its not an ignorant question, because if I wouldn't have pumped I wouldn't have known the answer. krazyash is right. They are only stretched out for a little bit after you pump. Then they go back to normal. Its not that big of a deal.

  • It's not ignorant to ask that. Yes, right after you get done pumping your nipples will look long but they will go back shortly. It's just right after.

  • good question, i plan on breastfeeding, atleast til i go back to work, then ill have to pump. never thought of this, but atleast now i know the answer!
