suggetions???

my lo is 3 months old and up until a few days ago would play in his bouncy chair or swing for a few minutes at least. now every time i set him down he immediately starts crying and as soon as i pick him up he stops. i have to different carriers but he does not like either one of them so i can never get anything done. Just a phase ?? can he be spoiled ?

  • Its probably a phase. He is probably scared you are going to leave him.

  • A baby cannot be spoiled, they have needs that must be met. My dd went through a phase like this, it could be seperation anxiety, or even frustration that they want to play with things but haven't physically learned how to do it yet. Babies get stressed when they are taking developmental leaps and get very demanding. Just give the extra love, the dishes can wait! Enjoy your baby, but if you need a break just set him down and come back if he gets really sad. It's OK if he fusses a little. He will be over this phase soon enough, probably when he is able to really play with toys in a month or so. I used to give my girls random things to hold, rattles, blankets, etc.
