anybody know how to treat contipation rather than prune juice?

my 5 year daughter start having constipation about more than couple of week, I took her to Dr. and he suggested enama which I did use it for her, and a week later she got the same problem, now every time I want to go back to Dr. she freaks out may another enema is waiting for her. do you know any home remedy that cures the contipation. By the way I do give her more fiber and veggies.

  • Apple juice is acidic. We used pear juice for our kids. It is a lot tastier and more gentle than apple or prune juice. Give her some fresh pears to eat and some pear juice later on.

  • I give my kids the special k drink with fiber. It is pink lemonaid. Also I give them yogart with live active piobiotaics (sp?) That keeps them regular. I give them the yogart everyday
