Do you ever question what's on your child school supply list?
I don't understand the 24 pens 24 pencils & 4 packages on notebook paper. That's just the start.
Does it upset you when you have to dump the supplies onto a bucket tor everyone to use?
I can barley afford my kids supplies & then end up letting everyone use them. Wondering if everyone actually buys supplies.
If so why so much on the first day?

Does it upset you when you have to dump the supplies onto a bucket tor everyone to use? << I don't... everything I send in has my kids name on it. If it sounds like it's not for personal use I wait an question the teacher. I am NOT the first national bank of school supplies. So far our lists are short. The teacher will send home a wish list once the kids get in.. I may buy one or two things from the list, if I have the money. But if you don't feel your list is fair call the school principal or the super and question it.

Why so much on the first day?
Because it is cheaper to buy the school supplies during back to school season when everything is on sale. Also, if you only sent in what they would need for the first few months, the teacher would be taking valuable time, writing notes saying "Susie/Johnny needs this, this, and this." Kids go through school supplies faster than you think, especially when they are using this supplies 6-8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
