  • 15 months. I had hoped to go longer, at least 2 years, and to let my son self-wean, but I started to have health problems and had to wean him at 15 months in order to focus on my health.

  • A little over two years. My daughter is now 7. She rarely gets sick, & has PERFECT teeth. Her dentist even said that it's been years since he's seen a childs mouth so healthy. I blame it all on the 2 years of breastfeeding. I also read that babies who are breastfed for 9 months or longer have higher IQ's. There are so many reasons that mothers should breastfeed. Obviously if you can't, you can't, but it hate it when mothers have a lot of breast milk & still choose the bottle. That milk is like gold for those babies.

  • My first only 7 months and i totaly regret not going longer. :( I am due march 23rd with my second and my goal is over a year at the least. Longer than that would be wonderful.
