How long before he walks?

My son cruises around furniture all the time. How long before he lets go?

  • Another vote for "depends on the kid"....my oldest was cruising furniture at 7 months, first solo step at 8 months then took off on his own at 10 months.

My second...barely cruised furniture. He couldn't be bothered apparently. He took his first step at 9 months (the day he turned!) and was off an walking at 9 months 1 week! lol

My youngest....he kind of did his own thing, too. He started cruising furniture at about 8-9 months then started walking all over the place at 11 months. He never did try that first solo step!! LOL

  • Totally depends on the kid. My son was cruising at 12 months, and didn't finally let go until 18 months, 6 months later!
