Crockpots

I threw my crocpot away a few months back. It was overheating and scorching in spots. I want a new one. What brand is best. I was looking at Cuisinart, but their large one is monstrously big

  • Mine is a hamilton beach and I haven't had any problems- but yeah I do see a ton of Rivals at the goodwill from the 60s, so they must still work. (guessing on decade- no idea when they were invented)

  • My favorite brand is Hamilton Beach. Every Rival I've ever owned has gotten too hot, even on low. From what I've seen from the Crockpot Moms group here on CM, it's a common complaint.

  • I have 3 different sizes. The 2 smaller ones are Rivals and the 6-quart one is a Hamilton Beach. I've been pleased with all of them,
